The bike was locked (I think) to a street light. I was inside a private residence for approximately 15 minutes.
Incident Description:
The bike was only left for a few minutes. That makes me wonder whether I locked it properly, but I think I did. There was no lock or evidence of a cut lock at the location.
Recovery Information
Recovery Notes:
On 9/11/2010 bicycle was spotted by volunteer bicycle recovery group members at flea market 41st/Ashland, identified via this listing. Police assisted in recovery of bike; returned to owner. Bike appeared to have had at least one user since loss-- had new seat, bar end angles changed, one wheel or tire changed (unclear from owner description.) Saddle bag missing but other accessories still in place.
