Condition of Bicycle / Distinguishing Features:
2008 Gary Fisher Wahoo. New to me as I just bought it on craigslist from the original owner, but there are some very slight redish scratches on the center of the handlebars and the top front handlebar bolt has a little bit of rust on it - quite noticeable for an otherwise pristine bike.

Incident Description:
I had just purchased this bike off of craigslist from the original owner and was loving every minute of it. Two days later, I rode up to Bally's to sign-up for a membership and workout. As I arrived, I saw a well populated bike rack and a man standing nearby holding his helmet. He approached me and said, "be careful, I just had my bike stolen." He proceeded to tell me his cable lock had been cut and his bike was gone. I hadn't been able to get a U lock yet, but figured I was decently safe with my cable lock considering that no thief would be dumb enough to steal a bike from the same spot twice on a crowded Sunday. An hour later, my worst fears were realized as my large bike didn't jump out at me from a distance. As I got closer, I saw my cut cable lock and helmet laying on the ground.
