Incident Description:
Pretty distraught.
RECOVERED:
Friend of victim recognized the bike in a craigslist "for sale" ad. Additional help of volunteer bike theft task force solicited, 9th district tactical police assistance procured. Bike was identified and recovered 12/2/10 at seller's home near Pershing/California without incident and without arrest. Sellers claimed that the bike was a birthday gift from a friend who had purchased it at Swap-O-Rama, 41st and Ashland.
