Incident Description: 
Bike was locked to bike carrier in a crowded open air parking lot near end of Wright ride this Sunday. Left bike for approximately one hour, when I returned the bike lock cable was cut and bike was gone. I immediately filed a report with Oak Park police.

On 8/24/2013 the victim writes: "Thanks to the great work and extra effort of Officer Bell and the rest of the officers of the Chicago Police in District 12, my bike was recovered. They used your web site (the Chicago Stolen Bike Registry) to locate the rightful owner, me, and returned my bike to me. Thank you so much!!!!!! My bike was stolen last Sunday in Oak Park. I really appreciate the extra effort of the Chicago Police. It really meant a lot to get this bike back."
