Basic Bike Info

Bicycle Type:
Other (describe in detail below)
Serial No.:
N/A
Size:
53-56cm
Color:
Red
Condition of Bicycle / Distinguishing Features:
I got this bike from the thrift store just under 2 years ago so I do not know all the specific make details. However, it is a Schwinn (presumably road) bike. Not sure about exact size but I’d guess 53-56 cm because it worked well for me (5’9). Details to watch out for: This bike had 2 reflectors (red under seat, white on front) when it was stolen. There was also a Planet bike rojo 100 light mounted to the back. On the handlebars, there is a flexible/squishy black phone mount. I also recently got new pedals. They are metal, rather than plain black.

Incident Description

Which type of area was your bike stolen from?:
Storage room.
How long was the bike locked in this location?:
Under 48 hours. I last put the bike away on the evening of 12/15. Discovered it missing on afternoon of 12/17.
Incident Description:
I went down to apartment basement on Friday afternoon 12/17. My bike—which had been leaning against 2 other bikes behind the door on the left of the room—was gone. The helmet (which had been dangling from the handlebars) was sat on a chair. There were a total of 4 other bikes in this room. All of them were still there. Unfortunately, I had not locked the bike up (got too comfortable:,( The lock was also coiled around the handlebars. I’m not sure if I left the correct combo in or if I scrambled it. It appears that the individual also took the lock.
