Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Bike was parked in Lincoln Park (1935 N Lincoln Park W) and locked to a bike rack through the frame and front wheel at 12pm while I was at work. At 10:30pm when I left work it was gone.

Locked up across from Lululemon in North Avenue corner. Other bikes were there. Went to world market came back and it was gone

Bike was missing after leaving my apartment around 1:00pm and coming back before 4:00pm. The back fence for the alleyway was locked, and my bike was tucked far into the alleyway. The only way to access the bike would be to jump over the tall fence and carry and push the bike over the fence, which is what appears to have happened. This leads over to a larger alleyway that is parallel to Leland Avenue in between Sheridan Rd and Clarendon Ave. The Green U-Lock was wrapped around the handle of the bike.

Person rode up on a Divvy bike, entered an open garage, stole the bike from a rack on the wall, and then rode off on the stolen bike, leaving the Divvy behind.

My bike was locked in my building’s basement. I had it locked to a handrail. At around 7:30am I went to go get my bike and it was missing.

Garage door was open for a few minutes, and the bike was removed.

Was in my fenced backyard in between trips, not locked. Was taken while I was inside my house.

Bike lives in laundry room, which is accessed via 2 locked doors/through a locked gate, but is used almost daily. Had a slow couple of days because of rain, and when I went down this morning to grab it, I found it missing. There are other bikes in the laundry room that were still there, but it was a new purchase (to replace my last stolen bike, lol) so it may have been the most appealing.

Went to look for bike Sunday June 28 and was gone from grace street towers. Likely was stolen between Saturday June 20 and Sunday June 28

Came out in the morning. Garage door was open, bike was gone.

I believe someone who lives in the building or maintenance stole the bike as they are the only people who would have access to a locked bike room.

Bike was taken from locked yard. We found the gate open, and the bike missing with the lock. Bike was locked with a brand new U lock and cable through frame and tire. I have had this bike exactly 31 days.

It is unknown exactly when the bike was stolen. The fact that is was stolen was realized on June 20, 2020 as it was no longer in the locked bike room in the building where I live and own a condo. And, the bike, my other bike and three locks were all missing/stolen as well.

Bike was stolen while I was present, robbery. On 6/28, victim reported that the bike was recovered.

Locked my bike to a wooden porch in my building in Logan square which I’ve done a million times before. It’s a safe yard. Neighbors were having a party and it disappeared.
