In relatively good condition overall. It has some chips out of the orange top coat that expose the blue underneath on the frame with a RockShox front suspesion fork and disk bracks front and rear. Also has a beefy rear rack (black), red-orange water bottle rack, kenda 908 cross tire (mixed slick and dirt tread) in front and a big Kenda with a yellow sidewall on the back. The saddle isn't the stock MTB red leather ditty--I swapped it for a cheap black Schwinn with a little more cush that has some damage to the front (for theft deterrence, ironically...). The shock squeaks when compressed. It might even have a faded orange wrist band that says "Grand Island, MI" looped around the frame near the headset/handlebars. Also, the cranks should be a little gnarled up on the tips where the pedals attach and the pedals themselves are medal and missing their reflectors (or at least most of them). The picture included is what my bike would look like without a rear rack, different saddle, and black wall tires.

There was no space to lock to the metal fence everyone in my apartment complex typically uses, so I locked the bike to the fence/railing of my little deck with a Kryptonite NewYorkLock U-lock and ran my cable through the front and rear tires and around a large (at least 6" x 6") wooden post for good measure. The U-lock was "defeated" by prying apart the fence and was presumably still attached to the bike when taken--the cable is also missing, so I'm guessing it was cut in order to free the bike from the post and probably would have been left lassoed to the U-lock. The picture included is what my bike would look like without a rear rack, different saddle, and black wall tires.

I parked my bike outside of the Ray Meyer Fitness Center on the Lincoln Park Campus of De Paul University. I went to my job at the Cafe inside of the gym. I could see my bike through the large windows of the facility. I informed a coworker that my bike was parked next to hers as we both looked out them. About 15minutes later she happened to look out and asked me if I had moved my bike. I ran out but it was already long gone.
