I parked my bike in front of my building on 3615 N Paulina St at around 9 PM on 5/24/2021. The next day, at 1 PM, I went outside and realized that it was missing with no trace left. There is a school right next to my house so there might be cameras? I had bought it second hand on 5/22/2021 and I ad it for only 2 days. When locking it, I used the same U-lock the I have been using to lock my scooter. Nothing ever happened to my scooter so this is very shocking.

There were other bikes locked to the rack and a lot of people around. locked the front wheel and frame to the bike rack along with my (white) helmet using a flexible U-lock that I have had for several years (used it with my previous bike). It is a very strong, thick cable that serves as a flexible U-lock.

Locked my bike up at a friends place on a typically secure side street..Oakley and W Foster. Locked up around 10pm with a 12mm u-lock and a 10mm cable that was wrapped through both tires and secured to the post with the u-lock. I took my bike seat inside with me, so it was just the frame that was locked up. Tried to leave for work around 1130 on 5/5 amd the bike was gone, but the cable and cut ulock were found in the grass

I arrived at the Sedgewick Brown Line station at 3:45pm on May 3rd, 2021. I locked my bike to the bike rack by the entrance to the station and caught a train, unfortunately being in such a rush that I forgot to notify the CTA attendant. I returned, via the Brown Line, at 5:50pm that same afternoon to find my bike gone without a trace. Between the hours of 3:45pm and 5:45pm, the lock was defeated and the bike stolen. A CTA security camera overlooks the bike rack.
