This is a mint green womens GT mountain bike, 21 speed. Wheel size 26, frame 16. The bicycle had a plastic connector on the handlebars with a red button(attachment for a bike basket). There is also a black plastic piece sticking up out of the end of the handlebar on the left side, the remains of a bike mirror which broke off. It also had an very visible attachment on the back wheel which is a black metal bar which is attached to the axle and goes back from there, it sticks out slightly past the back of the rear tire and say K9 Cruiser on it (faded letters). The bike seat was a black 8" gel seat with grey on the sides and a logo. There was also a sticker on the bike for Rudy's Chicago (bike shop.) Bike was registered with the police so if you think you see it please call the Chicago police (911) and report it, they have the serial number on file and should be able to ID it.

Incident Description:
I just came home from a trip today and found that my bike was stolen, along with my bicycle attachment (K9 Cruiser)... The bike lock was cut. There were other people here in the house when it was stolen, probably asleep. It must have happened overnight because the yard gate was found open in the morning. My dog almost was lost as well because a family member let her out in the morning not knowing the gate was open...
The bike is registered with the police so if you think you see it please call the Chicago police (911) and report it, they have the serial number on file and should be able to ID it.
