came to my back door to see if roommate needed help coming in...saw bike missing, looked down below, hispanic male in 20's red sweatshirt, backpack riding off with my bike. down the alley between ashland and bosworth just north of albion. ran to get my phone and then down after him, called 911, went back in house to get car keys and follow but...lost im. bummer. i loved that bike. i am stunned. (i do usually lock it up! what an idiot i was today!)

Update 10/3/10: Victim writes: man called owner (me) to say that he bought bike from a 12 year old kid outside the laundromat just north of devon on Clark--he reported kids are "always tryin to sell me a bike...this time i decided to check it out" he bought it for 50 bucks. sat on it for 2 weeks, called me today.
