Incident Description:
Locked bike in front of the Depaul library Monday. Finished studying, walked out smiling with helmet in hand and looked at the empty bike rack then left...then right..."mmm, that's funny, I thought I put it there." After the moment of bewilderment, was struck with a punch to the gut as I realized it was gone...
It was a cable lock with a masterlock combo. I new it wasn't the best lock which is why I don't leave it outside normally...pretty sure someone had bolt cutters and swiped the bike after a quick snip. bummer
