Basic Bike Info

Bicycle Type:
Hybrid Bike
Size:
Small
Color:
Black
Condition of Bicycle / Distinguishing Features:
The bike was in good condition with minimal blemished in the paint. The rear wheel was stolen and replaced two months ago. A defining feature of this bike is that that rear wheel is all silver and the front wheel is all black. The handle grips are not sealed on the edges and I was thinking about replacing them because they are an impalement hazard. The wheels are 28c. The bike has a water bottle cage as well.

Incident Description

Front of building in residential area.
How long was the bike locked in this location?:
4 hours
Incident Description:
The bike was locked to a street sign on the corner. Upon leaving the event we realized there was no street light at the corner and the bicycle was gone. We returned in the morning because it seemed unlikely that a u-lock was cut through and the rear wheel was chain locked to the bike. Upon inspection, we found that four street signs in the area had had the bottom bolt removed and the posts could be lifted out of the holder.
