Incident Description:
I was at Fleet Feet Sports for a triathlon training group with Chicago Endurance Sports. The bike was stolen while we were out on a run. I locked my bike at 6:30 pm exactly. At 8pm when I left after the workout the bike was gone. I locked the U-lock around the rack and the cable through the back tire and frame. The lock was still on the bike rack and the metal cable had been clipped. I checked with every nearby business including the security desk in the main building but absolutely none of them have security cameras outside the stores. Apparently no one eating on the patio or the parking valet at the Adobo Grill next door saw or reported anything either.
