Incident Description:
2 Scott Aspects (my wife's Aspect 40 was also stolen) were chained with 2 combination cable locks to both the parking sign and each other in front of the Fox and Obel near the entrance on Illinois. The parking sign was welded and affixed to the base. Bikes were chained through front wheels, frame, and around pole to other bikes back tire. There were two bke racks- one on each side of the sign with older bikes already locked on them. While in the market (after 20 minutes) I looked out the window and saw several people standing by the bikes- I initially thought they were locking their bikes up, but decided to check on ours- by the time I walked back through the market and out the bistro door, both bikes were gone. The cable locks weren't very thick, I assume they were cut, but don't know. One of the guys I saw was wearing a hoody and a jean jacket. The other older bikes chained to the rack were still there.
