Incident Description:
Because our apartment building is locked from the outside, I suspect it was stolen by a friend of one of my neighbors. This is unusual, however, considering all of the residents of the building socialize together regularly, save a few. Moreover, all of the residents and all of their bicycling friends store their bikes in this same hallway.
What makes this theft especially strange is that my bicycle was definitely not the NICEST in the hallway - infact it was unridable due to the hub being broken. Although, my bicycle was definitely the NICEST LOOKING; the rest being mostly utility bikes in plain colors with standard parts.
I suspect whomever stole it did so in order to sell the parts rather than ride it him/herself.
