Basic Bike Info
Bicycle Type:
Road Bike
Size:
62cm
Color:
Red Black
Condition of Bicycle / Distinguishing Features:
Long shot here, but it's a fairly distinctive bike, so here goes.
I left my red and black fade Trek Elance 400T inside my office building on Woodlawn in Hyde Park, at the University of Chicago. I haven't been back in a long time, and I've heard that my steed has ridden off without me. It's a bike I really like and I always relished coming back to Chicago to ride it. If you have any information on it, I'd really appreciate it.
It has / had a few distinctive features:
60 - 62 cm
Locking wheels -- wheels (Maillard hubs, matrix rims) were affixed with locking skewers
Moustache bars
Reelight magnetic lights front and back
Salsa shaft seatpost
Shimano 105 crank, big ring (48t?)
Some fat tires on there, size mis-matched (bigger in back)
Specialized y-shaped seat
Crank Brothers red candy pedals
Red LED lights in the bar ends
Anyway, if you think you've seen it around, I'd really appreciate knowing. I can verify ownership.
