Basic Bike Info

Bicycle Type:
Road Bike
Size:
22" Frame
Color:
Red
Condition of Bicycle / Distinguishing Features:
It's from the late 1970's. The Caliente is notable because of the "positron" gear system, which I replaced with a normal gear system. Left handlebar is wrapped with electrical tape, and the shift cable tubes are secured to the bottom tube with electrical tape. Right handlebar is wrapped in some gray cloth tape. I could go on with minute details, but this bike holds special meaning to me. People are assholes, and I don't hold out hope for seeing it again.
