Recovery Information
Recovery Notes:
On 7/27/2012, the victim writes:
I recovered my bike. Unfortunately it was not from the person who originally stole it, but someone who bought it afterward. He said he bought my $500 bike for $100 from a guy on the street. The police filed a report, didn't arrest him and I believe the guy. I am happy to report that I found the bike by a Craigslist search. I arranged a meeting in public space, recognized the bike and called 911.
Police showed up and questioned both of us. Bike was "recovered" and returned to me.
