Someone has had it in for my bike! Twice in two weeks, someone mangled my cable lock, as if they tried to break it from either end. I bought a thicker cable lock, and hadn't had any incidents in over a week (in retrospect, I clearly should have upgraded to a U-lock). Yesterday I rode it, and locked it as usual (through the wheel and the frame) to my building's metal fence. This morning, I went outside to find my bike and the lock gone.
