Other situation, please describe below.
How long was the bike locked in this location?:
2-3 hours.
Incident Description:
I locked the bike up to itself because there was nothing to lock the bike up to. I used a u-lock in combination with a cable. The u-lock was used to lock the front wheel to the frame, and the cable was used to secure the back whee to the frame and u-lock. While locking up, a group of three hispanic men with two pick-up trucks were present, working on one of the pick-up trucks, apparently trying to get it started. I left the bike to take my kayak on the river for a few hours. Upon return a few hours later, my bike was gone with no evidence of the lock or cable being cut, and both pick-up trucks were gone. I suspect they just picked the bike up and threw it in the bed of one of the trucks and drove off. The area where the bike was locked up is in a gated yard with one key-code lock entry gate to get in.
