Incident Description:
Our son's bike, along with three others, were parked/stored in our building's locked front lobby regularly for the past few months due to drain backup problems in the basement bike room.
Sometime between 1:30am and 9:30am on Saturday, thieves somehow got through/around the locked front gate of our building. They proceeded to play the wood frame away from the panes of glass next to the locked front door of our building. This allowed a pane to slip down, and they reached through the open pane to gain access through the front door.
One of the four bikes had a U-lock attached just to its back tire; that bike was spared.
Our son's bike was his 6th birthday gift and was taken along with 2 adult bikes.
