Incident Description:
BIKE WAS IN A LOCKED APARTMENT BUILDING ALONG WITH 5 OTHER BIKES, THIS WAS THE ONLY ONE STOLEN. IT HAD TO HAVE BEEN SOMEONE IN OUR BUILDING, BECAUSE NOBODY CAN GET IN OFF THE STREET AND INTO THE BUILDING. WE BELIEVE IT WAS OUR MAINTENANCE GUY, HIS NAME IS JIMMY. WHEN I CONFRONTED HIM ABOUT IT, HE GOT ALL NERVOUS AND SHAKY. THIS HAPPENED ONLY A FEW DAYS AFTER HE SAID TO EVERYONE TO BE CAREFUL AND KEEP THE DOOR SHUT THAT SOMEONE COULD COME IN AND TAKE THE BIKES (BUT THE DOOR SHUTS REAL FAST BEHIND YOU AND LOCKS RIGHT AWAY). GO FIGURE OURS WAS THE ONLY ONE STOLEN OUT OF THE 5 BIKES IN THERE. WE HAVE HAD MANY PROBLEMS WITH HIM ALREADY. THIS HAPPENED ON SAWYER AVENUE (2200 BLOCK NEAR PALMER) IN LOGAN SQUARE.
