Basic Bike Info
Bicycle Type:
Fixed Gear / Track Bike
Size:
53cm frame (mid-sized)
Color:
Black with lime green front wheel
Condition of Bicycle / Distinguishing Features:
General overview:
Black frame, black handlebars, chrome pedals, front tire inner rim was lime green (lime green hand painted and at closer look, small streaks from painting onto the rim accidentally). Seat is older than the rest of the bike, and slightly torn on the back right side.
Specifics:
The frame was a 53cm from around 2010. It had a 1 1/8" thread less Bareknuckle lugged fork rattle canned gloss black. Headset was loose ball. The stem and bars were new off of another bike I had. Straight bar cut down. Tektro MTN brake lever and Tektro front black side pull brake. Front wheel was a lime colored deep dish no name wheel with an Alex rim laced to a flip flop hub in the rear. Tires were Continentals but I cannot remember which ones. Maybe one an Ultra. The cranks were BigShot I think and the hearing was around 70-72" or so. I think the front ring was also an Origin8. Seat post was a standard low end single straight post and the saddle was a cut out but I cannot remember what the specific saddle was.

Incident Description:
I had left the bike on the front of the Damen (route 50) bus, going southbound, on June 11. It was last seen at Damen and Eastwood at about 9:05pm. I called the CTA and I was told the bike would be at the North Park Garage at the end of the route. However, the bike was not at the garage later that evening or the following Sunday. I loved that bike. I would greatly appreciate any good samaritan who can help return my bike or provide information.
