My brand new bike was stolen from the building I reside in at 650 N Morgan Street. It was parked in a spot designated for bikes and cable locked. The theft took place overnight between 7pm 8/20/2020 and 8am 8/21/2020. My husband saw it the evening of 08/20/2020 around 7pm after he came home from his bike ride. I was recovering from a knee pain.
Description of the bike: Bianchi Luna 42cm in matte black color with green Bianchi letters over it.
Purchased date: 06/13/2020 from BFF bikes. I have a proof of the receipt and photos of the bike from our recent bike rides.
Suspect: Smaller black lady with fuller body based on the building video footages. The building is 6-floor building with total of about 25 units total with secured doors and surveillance cameras around. This is not her first time breaking into our building and stealing things. She has taken our mails previously from our mail room and now my bike.

Based on the surveillance cameras, the suspect broke into our building through the main entrance at 5:15am in the morning. Went to garage where all bikes are parked and picked my bike. No other bikes were stolen.
