Incident Description:
i arrived at hannah's bretzel (180 w. washington and wells) around 8am. i locked my bike to a no-parking sign in front of the store and went inside. after finishing work around 6:45pm i walked outside and noticed my bike was missing. i am flabbergasted that somebody seemingly cut my lock and stole my bike in broad daylight right infront of the store from which it was visible to those inside and the many passersby. evidence of the bystander (genovese) effect in action. i am a pastry chef at the bistro and will gladly award those offering any information that might lead to the recovery of my bike with enough sweets to make you sick.
