Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Left bike tethered to securely installed rack in locked garage around 8 p.m. 5/13. Returned at noon 5/14 and the bike and charger were gone. No sign of forced entry.

9am I got back from a ride, closed my fence, walked inside to take off wet clothing, came out a few minutes later, it was gone

early morning I biked to my Gym (FFC old Town ) I locked my bike in front of the Gym to a bike rack around 06.05am i left the gym at 7.18am and wanted to walk to my bike but my entire bike + the lock wasn't there anymore i checked with the Gym if they have a camera but only the left side is covered with the camera and I parked my bike on the right side. my bike was locked and its not the first time that I left it out there

Bike frame locked to rack with numerous other bikes. Bike appeared to be the only one stolen.

Forgot to put my garage door down. Got footage of someone walking in and stealing it

Locked my bike up at a friends place on a typically secure side street..Oakley and W Foster. Locked up around 10pm with a 12mm u-lock and a 10mm cable that was wrapped through both tires and secured to the post with the u-lock. I took my bike seat inside with me, so it was just the frame that was locked up. Tried to leave for work around 1130 on 5/5 amd the bike was gone, but the cable and cut ulock were found in the grass

I arrived at the Sedgewick Brown Line station at 3:45pm on May 3rd, 2021. I locked my bike to the bike rack by the entrance to the station and caught a train, unfortunately being in such a rush that I forgot to notify the CTA attendant. I returned, via the Brown Line, at 5:50pm that same afternoon to find my bike gone without a trace. Between the hours of 3:45pm and 5:45pm, the lock was defeated and the bike stolen. A CTA security camera overlooks the bike rack.

We had gotten our bikes out of storage for a bike ride on Sunday morning and went back inside to finish getting ready. The bikes were next to a railing behind our building, in between the building and our garage. They would not have been visible from the from of our building but could've been seen from the side from someone coming down Augusta.

Stolen in front of a restaurant. Bike was locked to a street sign for about 30 minutes. Bike, lock, and 2 helmets are gone.

Bike was in front of the Jewel at 4200 N Lincoln; my son went in the store with two friends and when they came out his bike was gone.

Stole bike from garage

Two Specialized bikes stole off secured back wooden patio, happen sometime over night April 28-29th.. Both bikes were double locked with U-locks. One U-lock was locked to the frame of the bike and to the wood railing. Second U-lock was locked through the front wheel and to the frame of the bike. Patio wood railing was broken to free the bikes. Two older biked were left when they took our newer bikes.

My bike was in my locked minivan in my backyard, which was locked as well. The thief broke the deadbolt on my gate and smashed my van window to get at my bike.
