Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

My bike was stolen while I was at School at John Hancock College Prep, while attending asm. The suspects were 2 white males that got bolt cutters and cut off my cable lock. The suspects were said to head north of Hancock when it happened. One came back two days later to try and steal another one, but he didn't, considering there were too many witnesses. He's white, was wearing a black shirt with white shorts, in his 20's and has short hair. He was also said to head north when he steals one. If you find a bike like mine please text or email me a picture and I will tell you if it's mine.

Said hello to some people at the stupid block party got good and was heading to my studio. It was an awesome bike and somebody wanted it.

Bike was taken from a back passageway beyond garbage bins but beyond a locked gate to street.

I was playing soccer and left my bike next to the goal post, as I went to retrieve a ball that went over the fence a man went up to my bike and rode off.

Left bike unlocked temporarily in back of 864 E. Northwest Hwy hidden around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2014 behind dumpster until family member could get there to pick up (left key to lock at home). When family member arrived at 2:00 p.m., bike was gone.

My bike was locked to its self, frame to front wheel, in my basement/laundry room/storage space. I last rode it, tuesday, july 15th. I was going to ride it to work today july 18th, when I realized it was missing.

I left the bike at ERF building at 900W Taylor St. at 9.30PM on July 16. I went to work and came back at 2AM July 17. The bike was missing along with the lock.

My bike was locked to a no parking pole. The lock was threaded through the front wheel and the frame. The bike was lifted over the pole or the lock was cut and taken with the bike.

Someone probably cut the cable lock and stole the bike.

I was sitting inside reading with the window open on my first floor apt. The bike was locked 8 feet from my window. I heard them cut the cable and take the lock off, realized what the sound was and jumped up. I didn't see anyone because my curtains were closed at that instant. I grabbed my keys & phone & ran outside but they were gone. Called the police instantly.

I work at Lurie Children's hospital on Superior ave. I arrived to work at 5:30am and locked by bike to the bike rack out front. I went to leave at 6pm, and my bike as well as cable and Ulock were missing. Photo below is a stock photo- looks just like my bike except my frame is a deep purple

Outside the Damen Blue Line stop. Would have been in broad daylight with a bunch of people around to see, plus cameras. Sometime between 1130am and 8pm it was stolen.

Went inside to take off shoes, came back and bike was gone from third floor balcony. Not locked but stuck through railing in a way that removing it requires very technical movements. In effect the bike was jammed into the railing bars.

Bike was near blue line Division and Ashland. Then was taken to Chicago and Milwaukee. I am thinking it is in that area still.

Bike locked up in front of building, visible from front door. Returned in the morning and parts stripped. Stolen Parts include: Carbon Fiber Fork, Handlebars wrapped in bright red tape, saddle and seat post, and front and rear light kit. Over $500 in parts stolen.

I locked the bike and went inside to work. A couple hours later, I came out and the coil lock was cut through and still wrapped around the bike rack on Diversey, right in front of the stores.

Playing ultimate Frisbee with friends around 9pm. Everyone had there bikes together. The lights went out in the park, but we kept playing. After we were done, went back to the sideline of the field and the bike was gone.

I went to a friends house at 3:30 in the morning and left aorund 5:30. I left the bike propped up against the side of her house and went inside. Some time duringy stay the thief must have went into her backyard, walking at least 7 or 8 feet and grabbed my bike. The thing is, the backyard is blocked off by her garage and the place I left my bike isn't visible from the street and the garage keeps the bike out of view so they must have gotten used to me coming over and was spying on me or following me. Theres no other way the thief couldve known my bike was there unless they watched me or followed me or gottem tipped off. Last seen on austin and belmont.
