Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Bike had ulock on front wheel and frame. Also secured on large bike cable with pad lock. Thief cut thru cable lock.

Locked through front wheel (I thought I had the frame too but I guess not) in a locked room in my apartment building that was also the laundry room. I saw it still there when I walked in to switch laundry to the dryer at 8 and it was gone when I came back to get my clothes at 9. The thief took off the front wheel, which is now still locked to the rack.

Our garage was broken into and three bikes were stolen.

Left the bike locked to the bike rack near the river on the south side of the Merchandise Mart building (where cabs line up) from 9am to about 5:30pm when I discovered it was missing.

Cable was cut in broad daylight in front of Evanston Public Library on Church St. near Chicago Ave in Evanston.

Bike was last seen in the backyard about 7-10 days ago and I noticed it was missing today. It was locked with a U-lock to the back porch in a gate locked backyard.

Someone broke into garage and stole my bike. there were dents on the garage door. other items in the garage were open and looked like they were being looked into.

I locked my bike up at the Loyola Train station bike racks. When I got back from class around 4pm or 4:30pm it was gone.

Thieves broke through garage side door with crobar defeating deadbolt. Climbed over golf clubs and car to cut cable on two bikes - Specialized Stumpjumper & Novara Strada

Thieves broke through garage side door with a crowbar defeating the deadbolt. Climbed over golf clubs and car hood to get to bikes. Cut cable lock and only removed bikes.

BIKE STOLEN OUT OF OUR GARAGE---ALSO A MARIN MOUNTAIN BIKE WAS STOLEN, TOO.

This bike along with an Orange Raleigh Supercourse were stolen from our garage. My neighbor mistakenly left the garage door open. The bikes were stolen sometime between 8:00pm on Tuesday, February 10th and 7:00am on Wednesday, February 11th. This bike was hanging from hooks I installed in the rafters of the garage so someone came into the garage and stepped on the hood of my car and to get this bike. I know because they left their foot print on the hood of my car. There was a U-lock locked between the rear tire and frame but not locked to an object. As mentioned earlier this bike had a small rectangular triathlon sticker attached to it that we could never remove. If you see a women's Fuji with a sticker on the frame with a 4-digit number that start with "57" call the police immediately. The picture is what the bike looked like and obviously not the exact bike.

This bike and a woman's Fuji were stolen from my garage after 8pm on Tuesday, February 10th and before 7:00am Wednesday, February 11th. Unfortunately my neighbor left the garage door open. We also own a third bike that has more security on it that was left alone. I think someone walked through the alley along Sheffield near Webster and saw an open garage and took what they could. The picture is not my bike but one that looks similar to it that I found off the internet.

Bike was taken between 1:00p and 8:00p from inside my apartment building in a vom next to the stair case. Neighbor said when she left at 1:00p, it was there, and it was gone when she got back. Some of our mail and packages had been opened as well. Two eye witness of accounts of similar bikes by 46th and Western and 50th and Western.

The bike was left overnight in front of Bow Truss Coffee on 18th in Pilsen. Note: the image above is not the actual bike. The frame is identical, but the remainder of the bike is different from what's in the image.
