Bike was stolen out of my garage in the middle of a Sunday afternoon in my Irving park neighborhood. (Approx Irving and St Louis) I live in a single family home with a detached garage. Garage was closed and thief apparently jumped the fence and forced open the door to garage in my back yard and opened the overhead door. Appears to have been a very quick in and out. My helmet, gloves, shoes were all left on the floor.

I rode my bike into work and arrived around 7:45am. By the time I left work at 6:30pm the bike and the lock was missing from the rack I locked it to. My lock was a combination chain lock, and I double checked before I walked into work that it was connected to the rack. Both the bike and the lock were missing when I returned after work.

Bike was last used on June 2nd and returned to the garage where it is stored. Hangs from a hook in the garage and is locked via a cable looped over the garage ceiling 2 by 4 and then through the bike wheel & frame via a U lock. Not sure of when was taken but discovered on June 11th at 11am when going out to take children on a ride. Not sure of how garage was accessed. No other items in garage taken so either the door was open when it should not have been or someone accessed via the keypad. Garage is detached and only other way in would be the door connected to the yard which is locked but could be accessed via the side of the house. 2nd bike stolen in 4 years.

Handle bars are slightly crooked toward the right, and are covered in green grip tape, yellow & black electrical tape. Seat is exposed foam with black fabric and blue duct tape with a bacon design. Left with front light and back light and rear mounted rack. Includes kickstand. There is a mirror on the end of the left handlebar.
