When my wife left for work in the morning, she noticed that the back door of the garage and the gate leading to the garage through our back yard were both open. She then noticed that my bicycle was missing, along with my helmet and the bag containing the bike lock. We always lock the garage door, but there was no evidence of forced entry, so we must have accidentally left it unlocked. Nothing else appears to have been stolen from the garage, including other bicycles.

Bike was hanging from rafters in the garage. The side door doesn't lock. I thought since the back gate locks I was ok, but the front gate to the property is almost never locked. I just preferred the convenience of having it unlocked and got burned.
