Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Two males entered our condo building by using some kind of universal key on our call box and went into our garage and stole my bike and other property from other residents. The incident was captured on security cameras in the building. However it was not proactively identified. The condo building only accessed the security footage after I reported my bike as missing on 3/23.

I went down to the basement garage to take my bike out for a ride and discovered my bike was missing along with the lock. They left my helmet behind at the scene.

My bike was locked to the heavy duty metal fixture in the back of my building off of the alley. I had it locked up with a heavy duty kryptonite you lock along with a heavy duty kryptonite chain I was informed by my landlord this morning that my bike was missing and he checked the security cameras, and although they could not make out the description of the person stealing the bike, they saw sparks and heard noises at 4 AM or so on the footage. We are checking with neighbors to see if their cameras could determine what vehicle it was these people came in at least , the only item left on the scene when I checked the location this morning was one of the very thick chain links that have been cut with an angle grinder in half in order to remove the locks. The bike also was locked at the wheel with a café lock. It had a bike cover on it as well.

Indrufer broke into our building and cut the locks on several bikes from our garage bike rack.

The bike was behind the locked gate at the Kayak Chicago River location.

On Friday March 14th between 530-11pm, the bike was locked up with it's frame and rear wheel locked to a bike rack. This was located right on N Clark ST and W Maple St right outside of Napleton's Aston Martin Chicago. The lock

On Sunday, Feb 23rd at approximately 1:30pm the neighbor that I share a garage with left our garage door open and forgot to close it. As a result, my bike was stolen. When I came home around 6pm, I discovered my bike was gone.

Someone hopped the iron gate from the alley, kicked in the locked side door of our garage, opened the main garage door from the inside, and biked away. Neighbors saw a tall man wearing a yellow safety vest in the alley shortly before hearing banging near the garage. People in the nearby park later saw a man matching the description headed west.

Taken from bike storage room in apartment building. Doors to storage room were frequently left opened or unlocked.

Went to the basement this morning to see that several bikes and scooters had been taken. Thy were there last week when I was in the basement.

Laundry/storage room was broken into, door kicked in. Bike was locked by front wheel only to rack, frame was removed from front wheen and wheel and lock were left.

A person forced entry into the bike storage room and cut the steel cable that was connected to my U-lock.

When I walked out of my apartment this morning, I noticed that my bike was missing from my porch. The lock used was also removed from the scene. I am unsure of exactly when this incident occurred but I would assume sometime on 2/14.

Bike was stolen from my building's locked basement (the door to a common area was smashed in). It was locked with an Abus folding lock to the studs on an unfinished wall. Other bikes in the bike area were intact, though some weren't locked. I haven't ridden in a few weeks, so I don't know exactly when this happened, but it has to have been after January 13.

The bike was locked in my apartment building's basement bicycle storage room. The door to the storage room was forced open with a pry bar. The cable lock was cut.
