Bike was not on my back porch when i went to look for it in the morning

Bike was stored inside of parking garage for condo building. Bike was in parking spot but without being locked at that time. Incident date is rough estimate as unknown when bike was taken while away at work.

The bike was left overnight in the garage (alley between Iowa/Walton and Leavitt) between 8pm on 10/17/25 and 8am 10/18/25. The garage door must have been left open or malfunctioned and the bike was taken out of the garage.

I left the bike properly locked with U lock and cable, left for 2 hours then came back and it was gone!

Came home and my bike wasn't on the porch. Our porch is tucked away on the third floor of a locked courtyard behind the building

In our building garage, there are several private walk-in storage units. My bike had been stored in our locked unit for about two years when not in use. The unit is located directly in front of our parking space, and our car typically blocks its door. This morning, my husband moved the car to go to work, leaving the area accessible. When he returned around 2 p.m., he noticed that several other storage units were cracked open or wide open. He checked ours—which was still locked—and discovered that my bike was missing. He called me to confirm, and when I went down to check, the bike was indeed gone.

My bike was stolen out of my apartments storage location. The thief would have had to enter through two secure doors to get in.

Bike was taken from back patio, left helmet behind.

Bike was taken from inside my locked backyard while I was out of town. My neighbor alerted me yesterday that my bike was gone, and my helmet and locks were left on the ground.

Garage door of my apartment has been broken and left open. I believe someone just walked in and found where the bikes were parked. Mine was not locked but someone else’s who’s was, was also stolen.

Bike was locked to rack outside of the Ravenswood Metra station around 8:15am and upon returning around 4:45pm it was gone.

I parked my bike in the usual spot at bike rack in the back/employee entrance to University of Illinois, Chicago hospital in the morning around 6:30AM. When I went back at 5PM, the entire bike and lock were all gone.

I entered Dollar Tree for a moment I viewed the area outside and the bike was gone.

Garage was left open and somebody came and stole the bike.

Bike was stored in my closed garage, attached to my yard with both a locked front and back gate. It was sandwiched between the wall and my partner's bike which was not taken. I found camera footage from the front of our home with the thief leaving, but did not catch footage of anyone entering the property.

Garage was accidentally left open for 20 minutes. Came back home and the bike was gone. Found video footage of the theft after the fact.

My bike was located behind a gated area (gate doesn’t lock) near my apartment complex where another one of my neighbors bike was stolen around the same time.

Between 7p and 9a Oct 3 - 4, my bike was stolen. It was locked to a metal fence. The battery was NOT on the bike when it was stolen. It has distinctive stickers with "solidarity forever" and "never cross a picket line."
