Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Time of the incident TBD. The bike was locked inside our home in Chinatown and we discovered it missing on Wednesday May 23rd. We believe it happened overnight Monday-Tuesday May 21st-May 22nd because when my girlfriend/roommate went to run at 5AM on Tuesday morning, the front door was ajar.

Bike was stolen from garage

Thieves smashed the rear window of my car and stole the bike.

Bike was locked to bike rack at the Irving Park blue line stop. I lock it there every day weather permitting.

Today, upon entering the storage area for my building, I discovered that my bike has been stolen. No other bike was taken. It is a green bamboo/metal single speed Greenstar Ecoforce 1 with a dark brown leather Brooks seat and all white front tire (the back tire is green). The storage room was closed and locked when I went in, but it could have happened in last few days/weeks as I have not been in there that often as of late.

Security reported bicycle was stolen by tall black male that cut the lock and took lock and bicycle. Bicycle had flat front tire with disc brakes.

Bike was secured with U-lock inside of secure, gated parking area at residence in the evening of 5/20/18. It was discovered missing in the morning of 5/22/18. No remnants of the bike lock were found. The gate was closed and locked at time of discovery. No other property damage was noted. The bike was a black/red Schwinn Men's Circuit 28" hybrid bike (https://www.target.com/p/schwinn-174-men-s-circuit-28-hybrid-bike-with-disc-brake-black/-/A-51457275) with the stickers removed from the wheels and a U-lock holder added to the frame.

Son let his friend take a ride around the park on bike. Came back without bike stating someone took it from him.

My bike was locked with a U-Lock attached to a bike rack, as well as a cable through both tires and frame. The thief broke into our garage and cut the U-Lock somehow.

Bicycles were parked in enclosed garage Friday night, Sunday afternoon they were gone.

Fiance and I biked over to Jam to get brunch with our friends. We locked our bikes around a large green metal stop sign post through the frames with a combination cable lock. We ate brunch, and when we left the restaurant, our bikes were missing. These bikes hold sentimental value for both of us, as they were gifts from our parents. My fiance also lost her bike, which is a black Specialized Ariel bike. Any help getting these back to us would be huge.

Bike was locked with a flooding Abus Bordo lock to another bike. They were locked together. It was in a locked bike room in my building. The bikes were taken into the alley, the thieves cut the lock there, and dumped the other bike.

We biked over to Jam to get brunch with friends, and locked our bikes to a stop sign. My fiance and I locked the frames of our bikes together around the stop sign pole. When we got done eating brunch, after about an hour, both bikes and the lock were missing. We both love our bikes very much and just fixed them up for summer riding. We share a car and were planning on using our bikes regularly to bike to the gym/coffee shops/libraries/etc. Any help is much appreciated!!!

Locked my bike up, as usual, outside my office building. I know my bike was there within 2 hours of me leaving work. Came out after work and it was gone.

Cameras overlook the site, so I don't think it was cut. Maybe the lock was broken with some other method. Bike, helmet, lock, everything was gone.

I work at the OSW building and park my bike outside the civic opera house on their bike racks. My bike was parked around 10 am and when I left the building at 7 pm it was gone. There was no sign of a lock being broken.
