Bike was locked outside of 155 N. Wacker. Building security obtained video showing two thieves - one female was lookout and the other male used a portable electric saw to cut thought the lock. The lock itself and the cable were taken. The male rode the bike west on Randolph

Bike was missing from back porch

Individual was seen on camera (by East Bank Club) cutting lock @ 8:22pm. Thief then road away with bike and took destroyed lock with him.

Unsure on exact time or date; was in the garage on Oct 28; was not in the garage by 7:00pm on Oct 29. While the bike was not locked within the garage, we believe that garage was locked and shut. Other less expensive bikes were not stolen. Note that in attached picture, bike no longer had the pink bag nor the aero bars.

Someone broke into the basement of my building. They stole both my bikes which were unlocked. They also left a brown Fuji road bike behind and upgraded to my bikes. They must of had a van, car or accomplices because a lot of stuff was taken.

Someone broke into the basement of my apartment complex and stole my bikes. They were unlocked. They took many things and might have needed a van. They also left a brown Fuji road bike behind that does not belong to anyone in the building.

(On 10/29/2020, we were informed that the bike had been recovered.) I arrived to Target on Broadway at Sunnyside around 5:30 pm, went in and grabbed a few items and came out around 6:55 (according to the timestamp on my receipt). The bike was gone.

The pole my bike was U-locked to doesn’t have a sign at the top of it. The thieves took a chair and stepped on the chair and pulled it up and over the pole. The chair was left behind. Entire bike was stolen.

While bike not locked, it was in our gated area. Gate impossible to climb over as it is tall and has spikes. Roommates bike beside it also unlocked but untouched.

Locked bike outside Crerar Library on UChicago campus on bike rack - back row rack on far left side. Left until around 6:40pm. By then, bike was gone.

Two masked individuals gained access to the locked bike room in the basement of the 2555 N Clark St parking ramp on 10/18/2020 and stole 4-5 high-value bikes. My bike had a Kryptonite cable that secured the front wheel to the bike rack. The cable was looped through the back wheel as well, and my Kryptonite U-lock was fed through both ends of the cable lock, making a complete locked system. I'm kicking myself because the U-lock did not secure the frame of the bike to the bike rack itself (I figured that wouldn't be needed because it was in a secure room). Neither the bike nor lock were present after it had been stolen.

Locked bike to rack in apartment courtyard area on the evening of 10/21 around 8pm and returned next morning around 7am on 10/22 and bike along with lock was missing, presumed to be stolen.

Detached garage in the rear of house has forced entry through deadbolted door. This bike was not locked in the garage.

Oct 15th around 5pm the garage door to the apartment garage was left open and someone walked in and stole the bike. Unsure how they broke the U-lock.

Around 3 or 4 pm on Monday, October 19, 2020, I put my bike in my building’s basement as usual. To get to the basement, you have to go through a locked gate and then through the locked basement door. Presumably only residents of the building have a key to the gate and basement door. Other residents store their bikes in the basement, as well. The next day, at 4 pm, I went to the basement to get my bike to ride it to work. As I approached the gate, I noticed in the alley that a white van was parked. There appeared to be maintenance men doing something near our building. When I went into the basement, I saw my bike was gone. There were two other bikes in the basement: one bike sitting intact and another bike had its wheels taken off.
