Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Bike was stolen out of a shared garage through the back door. Happened sometime during that day 8:00am - 6:00 pm

I was living in the high rise at 811 W. Agatite. My bike was locked to a rack in the building's bike storage area. The Building Management decided there were too many bikes that had been abandoned by previous tenants, so they gave everyone in the building a sticker to put on their bike ("UPTOWN 811"), intending to remove bikes without stickers. I put a sticker on my locked bike. The bike was still there after the culling of the abandoned bikes had taken place. But about a week later, I went to get my bike and it had disappeared. Therefore I can't give a precise date when it was stolen. It was sometime in the month of September, 2022. Thank you for your help.

I believe my garage door was open by accident and it was taken from the garage while I was gone for a couple hours.

My grey Kia Sportage SUV was stolen around 9pm, the car was locked with my orange 2021 specialized stumpjumper in the back of the car. The car was located in the private lot in the rear of my residential building (1000 n lasalle). Security cameras clearly show three people who appear to be male in winter masks, one with a bright red jacket, looking into the car, roaming around the vicinity, then eventually breaking into the car and driving away, stealing both the car and the bike. The entire incident was caught on camera. The police eventually located the car, but when they found it, my bike is no longer in it.

Propped up my bike against my garage as I had to run inside for a Microsoft Teams meeting right as I got home from riding. Came back outside after the meeting, and the bike was gone

I locked my bike to bike lock in front of my work building Downton Chicago at 10am. When I finished the work around 3pm, the bike was no longer there. Lock was missing to as well as white Giro helmet.

Noticed another bike was in mine's place the day after I got back from a week-long trip. I think I last saw it a day or so before leaving.

Bike was taken from apartment bike room.

Within 30 min my bike was stolen from my garage.

According to the building security video, an unknown/unauthorized person entered the building and accessed the locked bike storage room. This person then cut the lock to my bike and stole the bike. I found remnants of the cut lock on the floor.

I do not know the exact time that it was stolen, only that it was taken from the storage/laundry room underneath our house in the middle of the night.

Bike was stolen 3 minutes before I arrived home to my garage parking spot at 859 W Erie St, Chicago 60642. I did not see the bike thiefs, but later weeks we discovered video that captured the theft on video on my the building. My bike was stolen along with my garage neighbor's bike. I attempted to upload photos of the bike thiefs to the below uploads, but the file is too large.

Incident occurred within a parking garage that tenants have access to. Garage door was malfunctioning and left open.

My son was riding a #60 CTA bus. The bike was on the front storage rack. At some point close to Wabash and Washington, he exited the bus and did not grab the bike. Somewhere between there and the end of the line at the CTA garage at 357 S Kedzie, the bike was removed from the bus. CTA said the bike was not reported to lost and found by the driver and no other garage reported it turned in, either.

Bike was discovered missing from garage on Saturday 11/19 and was last seen on Tuesday 11/15.
