When I went to recover it the next morning it was missing, and the low fence it had been locked to was clearly sawn through.

I normally keep my bike in my apartment, but moved it out onto my 2nd floor deck for a week or so. Locked to a wooden railing. Woke up a few days ago and saw that the railing had been dismembered and my bike was gone. There's a makeshift hammer that was also left on the porch, made of a wooden dowel and a piece of a 2x4.

Bike was in the garage connected to my condo unit. The only way in is with a key or remote for the garage door. I do not lock the bike once inside since it is fairly secure. I imagine someone waited until someone entered the garage with their car and then entered the garage after them while the door was still open. Two other road bikes were taken as well.
