It's a white Trek Series 1 with Bontrager wheels, a big copper bell, Cannondale carrier, and old Schwinn pedals. It has a weird custom basket on the back, but if whoever stole it took that off, it might still have weird u-shaped hook things near the wheel hub where the basket hooked on. It also has tires that are almost too big for it, so there's very low clearance between the tire and frame. It also has a weird custom bike lock setup like the one in the picture (the picture is not my bike). Stolen near Lincoln and Wellington.

Locked my bike up on a rack on the northwest corner of Clark and Hubbard around 3:45pm November 12th. There were two other bikes locked to the racks. I work just around the corner and when I finished work around 3:30am November 13th and went to grab my bike, it was gone and so was my lock.

I stopped to purchase a drink and use the restroom at Harvestime Foods, a grocery store located at the intersection of West Lawrence Avenue and North Talman Avenue on Chicago's north side. A Kryptonite u-lock was used to lock the front wheel and frame to a bike rack located on West Lawrence Avenue alongside this store. A heavy duty cable was run from the lock through the rear wheel and back to the lock. The bike was left unattended for about ten minutes. The the picture provided for this report was taken before the brook saddle and headlamp were installed. Any assistance with finding this would of course be greatly appreciated.

Tall white guy in MSU green jacket, white stripe on sleeves w/black knit cap took my bike from the bike racks on the 2nd floor of the Sherman Plaza parking structure. Cameras caught him walking from elevator through 2nd floor lobby to bike area, returning in 5 minutes with my bike, padlock and cable were either in his large dark backpack or in the saddle bag. He paused to pull his cap over his face on his way out. Security guy was really nice about searching data base. there's more film from 1st floor entrance, probably head-on shot. With any luck, police will get his face.
