I left my bike on our balcony, we are the second floor unit and our entrance is gated, you need to be buzzed in or hop the fence to get in. Once the thief gained access they climbed up our balcony where my bike was, unlocked on the balcony. I didn't think crime had gotten so bad that people are climbing up second story balconies for a $300 bike but ok, looks like I was wrong. So please help me get my bike back, I really liked that thing and it just started getting nice out! Located in Logan Square, I've lived here 8 years and I know bikes get stolen all the time...but damn. A few details: The incident occured between 3pm and 7pm today May 25, 2016. Our building has security cameras so my landlord is going to review the footage and get back to me. Once I see what that looks like and file a police report I'll update here.

Bike was locked to a street sign near the east end of the block by the Kaiser Tiger in the West Loop. The combination lock was cut, where the combination is located not where the cable is located. When I came back, the lock was ripped, left on the ground, and the bike was gone.

Rode to work and locked bike up at 7:30am. At 5:15pm came down and all that was left was the complete, unharmed front tire still locked to the bike rack. Bike was locked among numerous other bikes in the garage of commercial building where I work (225 W Wacker). Another guy on the second bike rack had his front tire stolen same day, as well.

I assume someone came during the night, cut the lock, and took off with the bike.

Sometime between 01:00 and 10:00am. Bike was locked to wooden balcony post at rear of house/apartment near an alleyway. Post was completely torn off railing. U-lock was attached to post, frame and front wheel. Had only been here for less than 1 week. Thief/thieves would have had to climb over balcony to get to it as it was on the inside and there is a locked gateway entrance to rear of building. Appears that the railing has just been ripped off with bike still attached.

Our bikes were locked up in our garage. The door to our garage closes automatically, but is on a sensor. We came home to only one of our bikes still there. The bikes were locked to each other. The men's bike was stollen while the women's bike was still there. The cable strung the bikes together with a black Ulock. The cable was cut and left at the scene. Our air pump was also moved from our garage spot and left elsewhere in the garage near the gate to our garbage room which leads to the alley. The pump was likely needed to fill the tires with air, as the bikes had not been used since last summer.
