Bike was locked to the bike parking U Stand across the street from Irazu at 8pm Tuesday Aug 26th. I returned at 11:30pm to a bike with one less saddle and seat post. So if you come across a Brooks B17 Black Saddle (w/ a scuff on the top near the rear) mated to a Thomson Elite 250mm 27.2mm black seat post (w/ NiteRider Cherry Bomb mount) please let me know where you saw it.

Incident Description: 
Arrived in front of Bethel Church in Garfield Park for a film shoot. Pulled up, and got off the bike, when a friend arrived to drop off some gear. Carried gear to the front door, which was locked, then waited for it to be unlocked while distributing gear. Got distracted by different tasks I had to do to get the day started and left the bike leaning on the fence in front of the church and didn't realize until noon what had happened. By that time, the bike was, of course, gone.

I was in the process of moving, so a lot of stuff was out on our front porch, which is actually well secluded on the second floor of a coach house in the back of a little courtyard area. We have never had anything stolen before, so didn't worry. There were also other more expensive bikes right there as well, but only this one was taken. I don't know if it was a neighbor or someone who knew me or knew the bike.. or a truly random incident, but the bike was there at night, as late as 4am, and then gone in the morning by 10am. I had just purchased this bike from CL a couple weeks before for 300$, and had spent another few hundred converting it to single speed and fixing up tires etc. Very devastated to lose it the morning of my move.. praying for a miracle it will be returned to me.... Thanks
