Locked Bike at bike rack outside 243 South Wabash Avenue 60604 around 5:45pm. Came back out around 9pm and bike was gone and the lock was broken on the ground.

Came home, found to bikes missing in basement (externally locked but shared with neighbor upstairs). In area of Irving park and ashland

Locked bike outside of Caribou Coffee on Ashland and School. Returned an hour later and the bike and lock were missing. Very busy intersection and busy with foot traffic

I came out to ride my bike to work in the morning and it was gone. It could have happened any time over the weekend though, as I had not checked on it in several days.

I locked my bike on a rack in front of a school building (Douglas Hall) of University of Illinois at Chicago. I realized my bike was stolen 15 minitues later and the theft cut the cable lock and left his bike(schwinn road bike) for me. I think that he was waiting for me to arrive and lock my bike in the campus.

Cut iron fence and lifted bike and U-lock.

It was stolen on the east side of the lincoln park zoo across the parking lot on a bike. Returned to the lock being cut and they stole only one of the two bikes locked up.

I work across the street from Cycle Smithy, 2468 N Clark. I locked my bike in front of the bike shop at 4pm, at the white bike rack closest to the sidewalk/street. I noticed from my workplace that my bike was still secure around 6pm. When I returned to the bike rack at around 10:15pm, my bike was gone and my cable lock was left on the ground, cut in half.

It was left in front of merchandised mart. With the rest of the bikes most of those people are u.s messengers. I think someone forced the lock open and took it while the street was empty. There are signs of bike chains cut there.

Bike was parked outside of Northwestern University Library, at the main bike rack. Stolen between 1030a.m. and 1230 p.m.

I locked it up behind my building and by the next morning it was gone. I posted a "missing bike" sign and another resident of my apartment building reported his bike was stolen at the same time.

Bike stolen from garage and hoisted over 6 ft fence. Waiting for police to arrive to file report. There is video of the incident - waiting for AV tech to download it.

I locked my bike up in front of a restaurant and went in to grab food with my friend. When I came back out both my bike and the lock were gone.

bike was inside a locked hallway thats shared with four other residents.

Was moving into a storage unit at Public Storage (1512 Jarvis), and the bike was stolen from inside the building while moving other items.

The bike was stolen sometime between 10:30pm on 5/1 and 8:00am on 5/2. The front wheel remains U-Locked to the bike rack. In all cases I lock the u-lock to by front wheel and bike frame. However, based on the remains I suspect I somehow missed the frame as I can't fathom how it would still be locked. There was a cable lock that was placed around the rear wheel connected to the frame. The cable lock was cut and left at the scene.

When I was in the building of which my bike was locked in front, someone stole it. There was crowded along with sidewalk. I did't think my bike would be stolen in that area and time. The location is on north State street. The building is the Target.
