The bike was locked up outside of Whole Foods in West Loop. I was in Whole Foods for less than 6-7 minutes and the thief used an angle grinder to cut my chain lock and took off. Happened in broad daylight in front of a few people at the bus stop.

I was sitting next to the lakefront with my bike right next to me, only about 3 feet away. I turned to lay on my side, with my bike behind me. I was only laying like that for about 5 minutes, but I had my headphones in, so I didn't hear the thief get on my bike and ride away. Someone sitting about 30 feet away told me he saw a shirtless man take my bike, but he assumed I knew the guy. The thief rode my bike southbound on the lakefront trail.
