Madison St, close to the entrance. around 4:00pm. When I came outside to get it around 7:00pm it was gone, but the bike lock was left on the sidewalk and you can see it was cut through with bolt cutters. I have an airtag hidden under the scooter and see it's latest location is at 3554 N Sheffield Ave. Chicago, IL 606657 at 7:23pm. I am happy to keep you updated on it's location if needed. Someone broke into our Old Town condo building and got my bike hanging in the garage. Please let me know if you see it. Note it was without the gray bracket shown in the picture.

I live on the third floor of a walkup. We use our back patio as our front door. The bike is usually locked, buut I had been having trouble with my lock and was cleaning the rust off of the lock mechanism. At the time the bike was stolen, it had been unlocked for several hours, but I never thought twice about it because we are three floors up and I have two dogs that usually bark at everything. At 6 PM, I took one dog out and the bike was there. Around 6:45 PM, I took the other dog out and noticed the bike was missing. I had been nearby and had heard no one on the stairs and no indication that someone had approached our unit.

The bike was stored in an indoor locked garage only accessible to residents. The bike was last seen on May 18 1pm and we found out it was lost on May 19 12pm.

Bike had been kept in a hidden area on my property. Had ridden it the day before and when I went to ride it the next day, it was gone.

Not entirely sure when the bike was stolen. I know it was on my porch, which is behind a locked gate, on Saturday 5/18 when I rode it in the afternoon and that it was gone as of the morning 5/20. I think it was there during the day on 5/19, but can't be certain. I'm guessing it was stolen from my porch sometime in the early morning of Monday 5/20.

Neighbor left our garage door open for ~4.5hrs (9:30am-2pm) and bike was stolen from our garage bike rack.

I parked my bike near my work and left it there for a few day because it was raining and it got stolen

I leave it hung up in the garage, because it’s my long distance bike. The garage door is always closed, but my neighbor left it open by accident. Someone just walked in and took it. I should have known better.

April 28th around 10pm, we have security footage showing a thief entering our locked garage and stealing two books and some other residents' items. An image of the intruder is also available. A police report has been filed and apartment building is made aware. Image is from the Internet, as I don't have any pics of my own.

The bicycle was u-locked to another bicycle behind a locked privacy fence in the patio well of a dark ground-floor unit. RECOVERED: LB reported On May 12, 2024, bike was located on Facebook marketplace and bought it back from the person who posted it for sale.

Stopped at home to grab a bite to eat and feed cats. Bike was leaning against the wall of neighboring building next the coach house I live in. Two entrances into the property between the front building and the coach house. Front gate to gangway does not lock but looks like a fence and can not be seen through. Front door was open when I came back down after about a half hour. So I assume someone just happened to walk by. Opened the door. Walked down the narrow gang way between the building around a concrete wall blocking any view from the street even if the front gate was open and through a small court yard between the building in the front and the coach house. Back door was locked. Someone had to have known that the front door is unlocked and have scoped out the place before. This time got lucky. Didn’t lock the bike because I was only there for short time and knew it couldn’t be seen from the street and there is no reason for anyone other than residents of the building to go through that area.
