Cable was cut and bike was stolen

Bike was locked on bike rack on Ashland between Cortland and Armitage by the Clybourn Metra station. Was in a hurry when locking it so frame was not locked correctly. scumbag took the frame off the front wheel leaving only the wheel U-locked to the bike rack. Bike was black with only one decal that says "Cutter". drop handlebars with red grip-tape.

I went inside the library to use the internet and was not away for more than an hour. When I came back out it was gone. Neither the security guard or the people selling clothes on the sidewalk next door reportedly saw anything.

The bike was stolen some time between 9:50 a.m. and 3:05 p.m. Just before I locked the bike, I noticed a Caucasian female on the sidewalk, intently looking at the area, the business next door, and down the alley. She was joined, after a moment, by a Caucasian male who came out of the alley just west of the 810 West Armitage Avenue address. Unlike other people who walk purposefully through the area at that time of day, they were mostly standing around looking. When I left work, next door, at 3:05 p.m., the bicycle and lock were missing.

Was locked to a tree next to the bike rack because the bike rack was way too full. Seat is not the same as in the picture.

The bicicle was stolen from my closed garage.

(The image above is stock) I just forgot to lock it up after I cam back from the store at 11pm (For one of the only times). My bike and my roomate's bike (a red mountin bike wire locked next to mine by the sidewalk) were stolen when I came out in the morning. I went to the Swap-o-rama as soon as I could in the morning in a last ditch effort to find it but it wasn't there :( . I spent a lot of time and money on this bike and I really was hoping to keep it for years to come so it would mean a lot to me to get it back Thanks

bike boosted over a locked gate. it's very clunky, surprised they physically did it.

Returned to ride bike home from work and it was gone. Lock and Bike were stolen in broad daylight.

I locked the bike to one of the single u-shaped bike racks outside the AMC movie theater in Gold Coast, which was very busy because of the film festival. It was just a few feet from the people who were displaying Buick's newest models, but they said that they did not see anything. It was locked with a rubber-coated cable and a Master key lock.

Not sure how it happened other than someone must have had cutters. My bike was locked and the front and rear wheels have a special lock.

Bike was taken from garage when overhead door was open.

My apartment manager said there were homeless people in the laundry room and he called the police on them and by the time the police came, they were gone. I suspect that they each stole my bike and my roommate's bike as well.

My roommate took a bike in from the garage that he thought was mine. When i came home from out of town i realized that he had taken in a stranger's bike and that my bike--1200 dollars when new--was taken from inside our stairwell behind a closed door, unable to be seen from the street. Either the thief was keeping track of my bike, took it and left his, or he/she saw someone took their bike from leaning against our garage, came back to get it, and then instead of taking his own bike (in clear view) he took mine.

A guest in our building entered and stole my bike from a locked storage room.

We actually think that Tendinos employees had something to do with it. As we picked up the lock from the sidewalk they were sitting in the window chuckling. We did not ask them. The bike could not have been stolen without them seeing the crime.

I locked up the bike at 8:15AM, came back out for lunch at 1PM to find it gone. The security guard for the building knew and saw nothing. The lock was gone as well. This is my daily commuter, I've locked up to this location every day for 15 months. I always lock the rear wheel/frame to the rack, and use a cable for the front wheel. The picture is outdated, see insert for new handlebars. -The rear brake was removed -Stock handle bars replaced with Profile Design Airwing OS + Cane Creek brake lever +-Blue Oury grips -Stock saddle replaced with WTB Rocket V saddle -Black Crank Brothers Mallet pedals It still had the SKS fenders and blue Verdestein tires.

Bike lock (U-lock) was sawed/cut through. The theft occurred sometime during the day between 8am & 620pm.

The wooden post of my patio, where my bike was locked, was pried off. Bike was locked through frame only to the wooden post with a U-Lock.

The bike was locked to a city bike rack in front of Landmark restaurant and Royal George theater on a busy Friday night during dinner hours, car valets were 100 ft away and said they saw nothing. The lock was cut and the bike stolen. I custom built the bike, many different brands of parts, the new brown velo saddle and exposed metal bull horn handles would visually stand out from a distance and up close the chipped grey frame paint would reveal specs of purples and whites from previous paint jobs.
