Incident Description: 
Date and time are approximate. This bike was not locked, but within the confines of the locked apartment complex (side entry). It was tucked away near some stairs with 2 other unlocked bikes. The bikes are not visible from the alley, but can be seen by the apartment building directly North. Only a short chain link fence separates the 2 apartment complexes. Either someone from the neighboring building jumped the fence, a stranger climbed the tall back gate, or someone within my apartment complex stole it. They left my U Lock and black helmet on the ground.

Left Bike outside Fizz Bar on a Monday night because of a huge storm and came back a 2 weeks later to pick up and it was gone. I've left the bike locked outside multiple times over the course of 5 years and always u-lock frame with the front wheel and have never had a problem.

Locked my bike at the Western-Orange line CTA train station, early in the morning, to the designated bike rack in front of the station. Returned at night after work and my bike and cable lock was missing. Two weeks prior to this incident, my front wheel was stolen. Last weekend, my u-lock(at that time I had a cable and a u-lock) appeared to have been tampered with and was no longer usable. This bike rack is not hidden or secluded. It is directly in front of the station, in view of the CTA booth/guard shack. All incident happened on the weekend. I have been locking my bike at this station for 2years.
