Sometime between Sunday morning Aug 29 and Tuesday morning Aug 31 the bike was taken from our building’s basement storage unit. I had left it unlocked there for about two weeks. I believe another bike was stolen from a different unit’s storage as well, a silver mtn bike. The bike that was stolen from me was not in the most rideable condition (wheels fairly out of true, brake pads rubbed down/need replacing) so my thought is that they either carried it (very light bike) or threw it in a car and took off.

Bike was stolen from vehicle rack. It was locked to the rack with two cable locks, routed through both wheels, the frame, and through another bike. The cables were cut, and the one bike stolen. Theft occurred sometime between 9:30 PM on Aug 26, and 4:30 AM on Aug 27, 2021. It occurred on the street at 1629 Hinman Avenue (Graduate Hotel, Evanston). Police report filed with Evanston PD. This is a custom bicycle that will stand out. The frame is from 2002, but the components are new.
