Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Bike is vintage black Canondale Silk Adventure 400, Womens size medium frame with "made in UAS" decal. Head and seat post shocks, 9x3 speed shimano shifters and derailleurs. Saddle: dark-brown/black leather brooks saddle/seat mounted on a chrome suspension seatpost. Multiple yellow reflective decals on front and sides of frame, 25kg luggage rack with two different style bolts connecting to seat post and reflector bolted to back. Two blue bungee cords, one on each side. Gripshift shifters on chrome rise bar handlebars, mounted on a black stem; rubber grips are worn and sticky, including worn out on left side where outer palm rests. Bell on left side distinctive: flip type, black with intricate copper pattern. Mount for headlight, wire bottle holder, and blue bicycle computer on handlebars. Spokes have small stars and other decorative features. Front tire is presta valve, back tire is shrader valve. Front and rear plastic fenders. Front forks are Headshok brand, single shock type.

General wear including small scratches from lock. Has white drop bars instead of standard straight. Also has a black back brake that doesn't match the silver front brake. May or may not still have a black front rack. A small yellow phone charm type lanyard may still hang from under the seat.

Near mint condition. Less than two months old. Might have Abus 410 (9") lock (green and black) still affixed. (It had been locked to a wooden deck, which was broken by the thief.)

Front brake is broken/detached, may or may not have cut bicycle chain lock.

Bike is in excellent shape. It has an integrated seatpost. It has a sticker on the top tube that says "Chicharon".

Assorted scratches, reflective tape added in a few spot, black fenders added

1999 Campione model painted in an unmistakable bright neon green (pearl lime, it's called) with purple lettering. It has tar all over the down tube and seat tube from when I rode through an unpaved section of road. It has a mount for a bike computer and a light on the handle bars.

Has a silver sqaure peg attached to the shaft of the bike seat which is used for connecting another bike. Also has Schwinn front and rear LED lights.

Sticker on frame

Left pedal somewhat warped, right pedal clacks a bit while riding, otherwise in pretty solid condition. Bit of scratching where I hooked the lock to the frame.

Good condition; some black paint worn from chain stays. Erik's Bike Shop sticker on down tube. Red Giro logo sticker on down tube. Cannondale tire pump attached to seat tube.

Excellent. SRAM Apex groupset, gel taped hamdlebars, black water bottle cage on down tube, Shimano road pedals. Bike still has factory components. Magic wheels.

Although bought ~15 years ago, the bike looked nearly new as it had been stored indoor throughout its life and not used very often. The bike had a "tune-up" performed by Beverly Bike & Ski earlier in the summer. No real distinguishing features other than accessories included a water bottle holder and a small bell on the handlebar. There are scratch marks on the frame's top bar where the u-lock would rub the cables when bouncing on rides. Note this is one of four bikes that were stolen from my garage on the night of Sept 21st in the Beverly neighborhood. The other bikes were a < 1yr. old Giant revel 2 with yellow/blue coloring; a ~2010 red Schwinn midi-Frontier youth bike; and the 4th bike was a recent hand-me down small adult tan/brown bike (sorry no recollection of brand since I didn't buy it). I'm hoping the criminal has kept this foursome of bikes together which would make it easier to identify as a group.

It is maintained very well. I got a new rear wheel installed that looks different from the front wheel.

A little beat up, large frame with yellow wrapped handlebars. The frame has yellow paint on it and "epona" written on it, thought most of these features may be altered by the thief.

Bike in like-new condition. Toe cages on the pedals. Small handlebars with handbrakes near the middle of the steering shaft. Monkey head sticker on the frame, "The Hour" written across the top the frame.

Lightly used, several scratches including noticeable scratch on top tube.

New, had rear splash fender, cell phone mount on handlebar, Fortified Lights front and rear
