Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

We parked in the 6300 block of North Wayne at 11 p.m. on Sunday, June 20th. Our bikes were on a bike rack on the back of our vehicle. When we went to retrieve them at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 21st, they were gone.

A man on a small BMX rode through our back alley. Stopped at our storage closet and stole the bike, which was unfortunately unlocked. He left the small BMX bike and rode off toward Noble street.

Thieves broke into our condo building through the front door around 2am on 6/20. Latest video footage shows them walking towards rear garage door. Too dark to see when they left, but they could have easily taken the bikes through the garage. They took two of my bikes and one of the neighbors, but left my wife's. Suggests to me they didn't have much time.

Accidently left garage opener in my pocket and must have inadvertently opened my garage. Last known time my garage was closed was June 18 at 4pm, noticed bike was missing around 10am June 19. Unable to file a police report because no one will pick up the phone.

****SOUTH LOOP CHICAGO****My bike was locked with a key lock outside of the SAIC Fashion center, 36 S Wabash Ave #735, Chicago, IL 60603, on a bike rack. I was at work a few buildings down for 5 hours between 10 am and 3 pm. It was checked on at about 1215 pm, and it was still there so it was stolen between 12pm and 3pm. The bike locked was also completely missing.

Combination cable lock must have been cut. However, there is an additional combination lock that locks the back tire to the frame.

I parked the bike at the Harlem green line station at 8am. When I returned at 5pm, it was gone.

Came to bike rack to find that bike was stolen, cable cut but lock intact

Bike was on a rack in the 3rd floor of my apartment building which is supposed to be locked. They're doing building maintenance and have left the doors open for the last few days.

Bike was locked outside of logan square cta station. When I went to grab it it was gone and the lock was sitting cut where I left it.

Garage near 1200 W Belmont was accidentally left open and bike was gone from the rack upon return.

I had my bike in my backyard, I saw it that morning but it was gone when I looked again around 7pm.

Lock my bike to the pole. Came back 20 minutes later and it was gone. Lock was gone too.

Stolen from locked bike room within midsize condo building that requires a resident or staff key to access. Bike was secured to rack with cable having integrated key lock threaded through the frame and front tire, which is also missing.

walked into the garage at the MCA in Chicago, and my bike was gone with the lock still there

Locked the bike in the bike rack in front of the building to visit my friend and when I came out the bike was gone.

I locked my bike up outside the XSport on North Ave. When I came out of the gym and just my front wheel and u-lock were left but the lock hadn't been cut. The workers at the gym and in the parking garage attached told me there are no cameras in that area, so I did not call regarding this and waste your time, but wanted to file a report at least about the incident. I unfortunately do not have a picture of my bike to share.

My bike was locked in our covered back porch. My girlfriend came back and noticed that the back porch door was unlocked and wide open. The bike was also gone.
