Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

This is the second time Bike has been stolen from the same spot. Landlord called in the morning and informed me that bike is missing from the spot where I used to keep.

I had locked my bike to the bike rack, but the lock wouldn't easily lock both the frame and the wheel. So, I just locked the wheel to the rack, which I've done a number of times. This time wasn't like other times. It was parked on E 57th St and S Drexel in front of the Knapp Center for Biomedical Discovery on the Univ of Chicago campus. I reported it to campus safety office.

Bike was stolen sometime between ~4PM 9/11 and 9AM 9/12

IT WAS THERE THEN IT WASNT IN A MATTER OF 1 OR 2 HOURS

Bike was stolen out of our garage, probably overnight. It seems the garage door may have been mistakenly left open overnight, so it was an easy theft.

Thief entered underground parking garage and took boke

Stolen outside of a grocery store right by the main entrance along a bust stretch of Fullerton Ave. Security footage shows a guy that walked up and pulled out an angle grinder from his backpack. It took him at least two minutes to cut through the lock while 3 to 4 people passed right by him.

Went to grab my bike in the morning to head to work, and it was missing from my enclosed back porch. Someone came into our back stairwell and stole my bike from the back porch .

Thieves broke into car and got garage door opener. Once in garage rode off with bike and trailer.

Bike was in a secure garage along with several other bikes. At 1pm the garage was closed and secure, by 1:45pm the garage door had been opened and just the single bike was missing.

My bike was in my garage, when I walked outside the garage was open and the bike was gone. I didn't have it locked since it was in my garage but somehow the door opened and someone must have seen it and taken off with it since it was unlocked.

At the Chicago West SOS (DMV) I was locking my bike but became distracted by a phone call. I forgot my key in the lock and walked away. 30 minutes later the bike, lock, and keys were gone.

Bike was stolen on the SouthWest corner of Granville and Winthrop between 12 am and 6am on 9/10.

Bike chained to bike rack (through frame and front wheel) outside of the Museum of Contemporary Art across from Lurie Children's Hospital main entrance. Locked there with a kryptonite chain lock at 0710 on 9/9, noticed it gone at 2:50 pm that same day. Lock and bike are gone, my old helmet was left. Hospital cameras reported to not have been working during that time and there was no visual.

The bike was parked at Damen and Armitage, infront of the liquor store on that corner. I work directly across the street. I must have not locked it up properly - I was in a rush because I was running late to my job so I don't remember exactly how I locked it - I knew that I could see it from my window at work so I wasn't too worried. Although, a car was blocking my view for a portion of the afternoon which is when it must have happened. I was taking the garbage out around 4 or 5 when I noticed it had been stolen. I thought I had the U-lock locking the bike body to the bike rack but the U-lock was attached to the bike rack and the cable was cut. I'm really bummed. I would pay to get it back, if someone needed it that badly I wish I could have just given them money instead of having my bike taken.
