Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

I locked the bike up at a bike rack just East of the Emergency Room entrance of Norwegian American Hospital at 1044 N Francisco Ave. around 6:45am. I came out of work at 6pm to find it was stolen. The security office has footage of the guy taking my bike. Picture below is not my exact bike, but the same model and color frame.

Most likely, someone who lives in the building left the garage door open, someone came inside and stole it.

Bike was kept in a common area bike room / laundry room. It appears someone gained entrance to the room and took a number of bikes.

I left my bike locked to a bike rack outside an apartment building. I used a cable combination lock, locking it through the front wheel and frame. I also included my helmet and rear rack net through the cable. When I returned about two hours later my bike was gone.

Three bikes were stolen from a back storage area in a locked residential building. The bikes were stolen some time between 8:00am and 3:00pm.

Incident occurred sometime between Friday, June 14 afternoon and Monday, June 18 at 11 am in the common room lobby of the apartment at 5128 S Kimbark Ave (managed by Kass Management. Outside gate and building are both locked. The bike was locked to the common space bike rack with a cable attached to a U-lock. The cable was cut and I found it this morning. The bike is royal blue mountain bike with the word "CANNONDALE" and "F7" written down the side of the frame. Thick black tires, black seat, and straight handlebars, with grey tennis tape wrapped around the grips of the handlebars. The back of the bike has a solid metal black bike rack attached upon which a grey milk crate was attached with zip ties (possibly removed by thief). There was also a small handheld tire pump clipped to the side of the frame. I bought the bike used two years ago but it is in excellent condition.

The theater was robbed of computers, cash, electronics and this bicycle.

It's hard to say exactly how this happened - I've been out of town for a week, and today upon getting home I went to the garage to find the bike gone. Our garage doesn't show signs of being broken into, we've never had issues in the past. But it's gone.

Our building was broken into and bikes were stolen from our basement. This Bianchi as well as my Kona Jake the Snake (silver Alu. fram w/ Black steel fork, MAVIC Aksium Race wheels w/ cross tires.

I was in my car with my bike on the rack, parked in the Marianos parking lot and someone came up and grabbed it and rode away

Moved in and left bike locked to wooden bannister in back of building. Came back next day to the bike gone, and the wooden rail removed at the top, which allows the bike and lock to be lifted and removed.

Bike stolen from garage.

My bike was taken from a locked bike room on the ground floor in my apartment complex (1714 W Roscoe, where I lived at the time of incident). There is a back door entrance on the ground floor someone could have gained access through as well as entering through the front entrance and heading all the way back to the back of the building - both doors require a building key to access. My bike was locked in the bike room on 4/9. When I went to get it on 4/18, it was gone. My bike lock was not present either. So at some point in that week between going to the bike room, someone entered the locked bike room, got the lock of my locked bike and stole it.

I locked my bike where I always lock up near the back entrance of my apartment building, in a locked corridor. The bike was locked onto a wooden banister. The vertical banister part was pulled out and the bike was stolen between June 8th, 8pm and June 9th 2pm.

Came out to retrieve bike after work and it was missing. Lock missing along with it.

The bike was in the back stairway of my apartment on the second floor, which you can access if you have access to the front door or basement. Never expected a bike theft so brazen as this!
