The bike is in overall good condition. There are several distinguishing marks on the paint job. The most significant being on the top surface of the top tube both near the stem and close to the seat post where the pain is almost completely chipped away. There are also some stickers on the sides of the top tube, one is white and reads "I dream on two wheels", and one on the other side is blue, and reads "May Peace Prevail on Earth." The stem is not original, and is adjustable with two halves, one black and one chrome. The handlebar tape is blue. The shifters no longer have a cap on the top of them, and the tightening screws are exposed on both sides.

I had ridden the bicycle to Evanston, and was not allowed to take it back on the train. I locked it up below the Noyes Purple line stop on Evanston. I was unable to return to Evanston for several days, and by the time I got back the lock had been clipped and left on the ground, and the bike was gone.

Locked up bike outside Ravenswood Antique Mart- last checked on it at midnight and when I woke up at 9am both wheels had been stolen, as had the back wheel of bike parked next to mine. My bike was U-locked through the frame (newer u-lock with flat key) to the bike rack with a cable lock (long kryptonite cable) through both tires and the ulock. Cut cable was left at the scene. My frame was still u-locked to the bike rack. Bike next to mine (do not know the owner) had back wheel taken by what appears to have been defeat of standard fixie bolt on wheel- removed with a wrench.

I was in the garden and the person pried open the locked gate and took the bike. The bike itself was not locked to anything, but the gate had a lock on it. The person pried open the "claw" part of the lock and got it up enough to open the door, the lock was on it the whole time. It's brown and red with a big seat that has an "S" on it. The gear/chain protector has been sawed off on the rear end, about 4 inches - there are marks on it from the sawing, and from when it got caught in the chain. There is a blue sticker from my building with the number "179" for my parking space. There was also a helmet and lock hanging from the handle bars. It was purchased at Kozy's - there may be one of their stickers on it?

The only noticeable wear was on the handlebars- if you look VERY closely you can see early rust spots beginning to form- but this honestly barely noticeable. Both tires are quick-release. The paint job up close almost looks metallic-marbley.

Owners parked the bikes at 12pm on the sidewalk on the east side of CHicago Ave in Evanston across from the South Evanston Purple Line Station. when they came back for the bikes around 2:15pm they were gone. No locks or cable at the scene and the tree was unharmed.

My bike was locked up on my back porch for a few weeks with a newer u-lock w/flat key. Just move in recently. I belief that the thieves are sweeping the neighborhood. Our neighbor's bike was stolen a few days prior. Then, they couldn't cut the u-lock that I had, so they broke the railing and must have thrown the bike in the back of a truck/van. They also stole my roommate's front tire from his bike. It happened in the middle of the day. My roommate has left his bike on that same porch for over a year with no incidents. Has even left it unlocked for weeks at a time. There's been a great deal of stolen bikes reported in Lincoln Park area recently.
